No, there are shades, but engraving is a local combustion of the base material. This means that it is possible to burn harder or softer, which gives a visible difference. Does it really have to be color? Then there are some other possibilities: we can print directly on many materials, or spray over engravings or color them with special paints, subject to some work-arounds.
It is important to make a clear distinction between engraving and cutting. Not all materials that can be engraved can also be cut (and vice versa). We work daily with wood and MDF, acrylic/PMMA (plexi), mirror, leather and stone, but we regularly discover other materials that can be processed with the laser (Gyproc, for example). Everything from the above list can be engraved and cut except stone (engraving only).

Yes, you can send it to us, we'll edit it and send it back. By appointment it can also be brought in and edited while you wait.
We can continue with an explanation that is as detailed as possible and possibly a sketch (even if it is sloppy). We have a graphic department that can technically design everything in consultation with the product developer.
We can only engrave metal and related materials. Metals with a coating give a very good result because we laser away the coating in specific places, so that the bare metal becomes visible in those places. We can 'mark' metals without a coating, which is a chemical reaction that is permanent and produces a (usually) dark gray imprint.
For standard products in low quantities, you can count on 1 to 2 days for pre-production and the same for shipping. Urgent orders can always be discussed and, if necessary, can be picked up the same day in our Atelier in Mechelen. Specific materials may take longer because not all of them are in stock in large quantities. Large orders can also take longer, but this is clearly communicated in advance without exception.
We do not have a showroom, you can always come by, but it is recommended to make an appointment first so that the right person can receive you and help you further.
We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You'll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.
Unfortunately, we cannot take back personalized or custom-made items.
